"Painting to me is like breathing. I can express whatever is on my mind and heart through the image that "flash upon my inward eye", in the conscious or the
semi-conscious state."

FEATURED SERIES
Lord Ganesha, or Ganpati a more renowned name, is one of the most beloved and revered deity in Hinduism. Being worshipped as the removers of obstacles and the god of new beginnings and success, his most famous attribute is his elephant’s head, the reason for which is a story in itself. Lord Ganesha has 108 names and each name represents one aspect of this revered god. In this series, Anshu Pawan has attempted to weave a narrative with different names of Lord Ganesha with minimalistic lines and form.
The series explores human being's drive to find some beauty and rhythm even in the drab and mundane surroundings of every day life. Even those who are forced to face the trials and tribulations that challenge existence, find frequent opportunity to experience the delights of beauty-an expression, a face, a garment or a trinket, a bit of cloud or sky, the sunset or the landscape. In this series, Anshu has used the geometrical images in confluence with the fluidity of lines. The color schemes used by her are fragmented and adventurous.
One of the most powerful forces that drive human behavior are emotions. At any given point in our lives, the emotion we are experiencing influences our decision, the choices we make, and the actions we take. The ability to emote is what makes us unique. In this new series, budding abstract Anshu Pawan has dived into this realm of emotions exploring different types, that one experiences and expresses in their lifetimes. In this series, the artist has used vivid colour schemes and a very unique figurative style to depict these complex emotions on her canvases. Her motive was to evoke the same emotions for the spectators witnessing her art.
